Podium Minerals (ASX:POD) said metallurgical test work conducted on diamond core samples sourced from the hanging wall zone at its Parks Reef platinum group metals project in Western Australia shows the suitability of the material to processing through a concentrator flowsheet, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The concentrator flowsheet recovers around 73% of platinum, palladium, and gold, and delivers two discrete high-grade PGM products totalling 115 grams per tonne grade platinum, palladium, and gold.
The firm is currently conducting test work on high-grade mineralized zones at the project with samples from its current drilling program.
Its shares fell 6% in recent trading on Monday.
