Applied Materials (AMAT) said Tuesday it is working with Micron Technology (MU) to develop dynamic random access memory, high-bandwidth memory, and NAND products and services for AI applications.

The partnership aims to increase the energy efficiency of AI systems and includes development of advanced packaging to enable high-bandwidth, low-power memory solutions for energy demanding AI workloads, the company said.
