Kakiyasu Honten's (TYO:2294) preliminary net sales for February slipped to 2.57 billion yen from 2.58 billion yen a year earlier, while sales at existing stores were little changed at 2.21 billion yen from 2.20 billion yen, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The restaurant operator's cumulative sales for the fiscal year through February increased slightly to 30.5 billion yen, with existing-store sales up marginally to 25.3 billion yen, the company said.
