UK Stocks-Factors to watch on March 11 

March 11 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.02%.

* SHELL: International oil majors Chevron CVX.N and Shell SHEL.L are closing in on the first big oil production deals with Venezuela since the U.S. capture of President Nicolas Maduro in January, five sources close to the negotiations told Reuters.

* SHELL: LNG Canada, a Shell-led SHEL.L venture, ramped up production and exports to Asia this month, LSEG data show.

* HARBOUR ENERGY: Britain's Harbour Energy's HBR.L third-largest shareholder, EIG Asset Management, is selling about 60 million shares in the oil and gas producer, according to a bookrunner.

* RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto RIO.AX, RIO.L said it had secured a $1.175 billion financing package from four international lenders to support development of its Rincon lithium project in Argentina's Salta province.

* BP: Climate shareholder activist group Follow This said it would fight BP's BP.L decision not to include its climate resolution in its annual general shareholder meeting invitation.

* HALEON: Haleon HLN.L is stepping up its Chinese expansion, pushing into second- and third-tier cities and tailoring its gum-health products to local tastes.

* GLENCORE: Workers at Glencore's GLEN.L copper refinery in North Queensland plan to go on strike after nearly a year of failed negotiations over pay and working conditions, a union said.

* OIL: Oil prices dropped after the Wall Street Journal said the International Energy Agency has proposed the largest release of oil reserves in its history.

* METALS: Gold edged higher as inflation worries eased, and aluminium prices rebounded.

*FTSE: Stocks gained in London on Tuesday, following three sessions of declines.
