Sampann Utpadan India (NSE:SAMPANN, BOM:534598) said it has commissioned a 4 MW solar power plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, effective March 10, according to a same-day filing on Indian bourses.
The facility is expected to generate about 6 million kWh of electricity annually, helping reduce power procurement costs and reliance on grid electricity. The project is also expected to cut carbon emissions by around 4,500-5,000 metric tons per year, the company said in the filing.
