Samsung Electronics' (KRX:005930) Home Appliance Remote Diagnosis service, which remotely monitors home appliances and provides AI-based diagnosis and consultation, secured Nemko's AI Trust Mark certification, the electronics products maker said in a Monday release.

Nemko is a global testing and certification organization based in Norway, it said.

The diagnosis system can detect issues such as refrigerant leakage, refrigerator door openings, and oil or dust accumulation on air conditioner heat exchangers, among others, the release said.

Shares of Samsung Electronics rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
