Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) confirmed the presence of a large and continuous zone of high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization at the Perseverance target within the Pinnacles Mine in New South Wales, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include 5.1 meters at 717 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 430 meters, including 2.2 meters at 1,556 g/t silver equivalent from 432 meters, and 3.2 meters at 893 g/t silver equivalent from 472 meters, the filing said.
The high-grade mineralization zone extends over 350 meters down dip, is up to 100 meters wide, and typically ranges from two meters to 10 meters in thickness, per the filing.
Shares rose 1% in midday trade on Wednesday.
