Shanghai Junshi Biosciences' (HKG:1877, SHA:688180) chairman, Xiong Jun, raised his shareholding for 12.2 million yuan, according to a Hong Kong filing on Monday.
The pharmaceutical company's Shanghai shares rose over 2% in Tuesday's morning trade.
Xiong acquired an additional 365,382 shares, or 0.04% of the company's total share capital.
The move is part of Xiong's plan to increase his stake by 50 million yuan to 100 million yuan. The share increase transaction is still ongoing.
