Coronado Global Resources (ASX:CRN) appointed Executive Chair Gerry Spindler as interim chief executive officer, effective April 1, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Spindler will succeed Douglas Thompson, who will step down as CEO, effective March 31, the filing said.

Director Greg Pritchard has been appointed chair of the board, effective April 1, the filing added.
