Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) said metallurgical testwork on the scheelite-gold material from the Western Queen gold-tungsten project in Western Australia confirmed that the material can be upgraded to a concentrate containing 48% grade of tungsten oxide at a 45% recovery using a simple gravity circuit, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It developed a flowsheet to separate both gold and scheelite with minimal gold loss to the scheelite concentrate. It also began talks with mineral processing specialist Sepro Systems to evaluate modular, low-cost gravity processing equipment.
Its shares jumped 10% in recent trading on Wednesday.
