Elate (HKG:0076) expects a loss attributable to owners of $14 million to $16 million for 2025, compared with a profit of $40.3 million a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the electronic parts manufacturer were up nearly 1% in Thursday afternoon trading.
The swing to loss was mainly due to a one-off fair value loss on financial assets, partly offset by a fair value gain on cryptocurrencies.
Elate said its annual results are scheduled to be published on March 30.
