Guangzhou Automobile Group (HKG:2238, SHA:601238), or GAC, booked 8.78 billion yuan in attributable loss for 2025, compared to earnings of 823.6 million yuan in 2024, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
Hong Kong-listed shares of the automaker were down nearly 4% in morning trade Monday.
Loss per share was 0.85 yuan, compared with earnings of 0.08 yuan per share in the prior year.
Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated a loss of 0.54 yuan.
Revenue fell 10% year on year to 96.5 billion yuan, figures showed.
Analysts at Visible Alpha expected sales of 93.8 billion yuan.
