Kodiak Sciences (KOD) shares rose more than 13% in morning trading Wednesday, a day after the company reported better-than-expected Q4 results.
The company reported a net loss late Tuesday of $1.04 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.84 a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $1.07.
The company said it expects its cash and cash equivalents, which stood at $209.9 million as of Dec. 31, to support operations into 2027.
