VE Commercial Vehicles, a subsidiary of Eicher Motors (NSE:EICHERMOT, BOM:505200), reported an over 10% rise in its total sales in March to 13,311 units from 12,094 units sold a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Wednesday.

The domestic sales were up nearly 14% year on year to 12,706 units, while exports plunged 39% to 407 units.

Shares of Eicher Motors jumped nearly 5% in recent trade.
