MW Reality TV star Tyler Cameron makes a big move in his real-estate career with new Florida development

By Kelsi Karruli

The project is the first ground-up development listing that Cameron has secured since signing with Ryan Serhant's agency.

Tyler Cameron has worn many hats as a reality star, a construction company owner, a real estate agent, and an HGTV host.

But now, he's taking what he sees as one of the "biggest steps" in his career-having landed the listing for a significant new townhome development in Florida, mere months after joining fellow reality TV star Ryan Serhant's brokerage.

The project, known as Ancora, is located on Hutchinson Island, about 35 miles north of Cameron's home in Jupiter. It includes a collection of 24 luxury waterfront townhomes set along a largely untouched coastline.

Speaking exclusively to Realtor.com about the development, which is due to break ground in a matter of weeks, Cameron voiced his excitement at leading the charge on the sale of the properties, which promise an intimate, design-driven alternative to the enormous mansions most commonly found on Hutchinson Island.

"This is probably the biggest step I've had in my real estate career and the biggest project I've ever been a part of," Cameron said. The opportunity will not only allow him to further his ambitions, but also to combine his experience in construction and brokering.

The project marks the first ground-up development listing that Cameron has secured since signing with Serhant's agency in 2025. It is also a first of its kind for Hutchinson Island, he explained, particularly because of its focus on design and luxury.

"This is going to be the first boutique, high-end luxury townhome community in Hutchinson Island," Cameron said, noting that much of the surrounding development has historically been more "commodity" driven.

With pricing starting at $1.75 million-and limited inventory-Ancora enters the market as a compelling option in one of Florida's fastest-emerging coastal enclaves.

Located at 10251 South Ocean Dr., between Palm Beach and Vero Beach, the development is positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Ancora offers a much more affordable waterfront lifestyle for those buyers who are priced out of South Florida's more saturated markets.

Developed by Civitella, led by Matthew Madrazo, Ancora is intended to offer homebuyers a true sense of community, while also providing the kind of privacy and space that are rarely found in a condo unit.

Renderings of the project shared exclusively with Realtor.com reveal that the properties exude elegance and feature state-of-the-art appliances and modern finishes.

The project will feature multiple four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom duplex-style townhomes, each of which will span roughly 3,100 square feet. They will come equipped with their own private elevator.

Residents will also have access to a suite of community amenities, including a waterfront pool and sun deck, a private clubhouse, a fitness center, and a limited collection of just seven private boat slips.

"We have Intracoastal access, seven boat slips, and private deeded beach access," Cameron said.

He added that the development is expected to attract a mix of Northeast transplants, local Florida buyers who want to move closer to the water, and Miami-based second-home seekers.

"There are those coming from the Northeast that want to live down here and those in South Florida who want to finally live by the water," he said. The project offers "the Florida dream at a very affordable price point for what you're getting."

He also pointed to the relative value compared to nearby coastal markets, noting similar waterfront properties elsewhere often come at a significantly higher price per square foot.

"You can't find that in Tequesta, not on the water, not with Intracoastal access," Cameron said.

Groundbreaking is slated for April 2026, with first deliveries expected in early 2027.

The development is designed to capitalize on Hutchinson Island's growing appeal as a quieter alternative to more densely built luxury markets farther south.

"Hutchinson Island is a very charming, beautiful beach town, much more relaxed, much more calming," Cameron said. The area is a draw for buyers seeking a slower-paced coastal lifestyle.

Architecture by Swedroe Architecture, with interiors by Oggi Design House, aims to deliver a more refined, design-forward residential experience along the Treasure Coast.

Each residence will also include deeded beach access, allowing homeowners to enjoy both ocean and riverfront living.

Cameron also emphasized the homes' livability, noting that each unit is designed to feel more like a standalone residence than a traditional townhome.

"Every unit is an end unit. You basically live in your own house, and you have a backyard, which a lot of townhomes don't," he said.

With just 24 homes planned, the project underscores a broader shift toward smaller, more exclusive coastal communities where new inventory remains scarce.

Cameron revealed that he is even open to being a part of Serhant's hit Netflix real estate show. But, he noted, he has "got to prove himself first."

Ancora is his "big swing" that will allow him to show he can get a lot of things done, he explained.

The former reality TV star-whose own Florida dwelling was recently overhauled by HGTV star Galey Alix-landed a job at Serhant in July 2025.

At the time, he told Realtor.com that he was "excited" to turn his "passion" for real estate into a career, adding that he couldn't think of a better place to bring that dream to life than at Serhant's company.

Luckily for "The Bachelorette" star, his office at Serhant is just a few miles from his own Jupiter dwelling, which was designed by his girlfriend, Tate Madden.

"I had breakfast with Ryan as well as getting to know some of the agents down here and there is no better leader in this industry than Ryan and no one better to learn from," Cameron said.

In addition to landing the job with Serhant, Cameron also runs Image 1 Construction, which was showcased in his series "Going Home With Tyler Cameron," where he returned to Jupiter to renovate homes for locals, while also transforming his late mother's abode, according to a press release.

Having already experienced how reality TV and social media can lead to global success, Cameron noted that Serhant's masterful use of both mediums was another huge draw to his company.

"The reason I chose Serhant is because of their modern take on real estate by blending social media with sales," Cameron explained.

"It has set them apart from the rest of the agencies around us. They are brand-new in South Florida and already at the top of the list when it comes to agencies down here, so it was a no-brainer for me. My goal is to help bring the Jupiter office to No. 1 in the area.

"I will continue to run my construction business and investment properties, but I am excited to turn this passion of searching for the perfect properties for myself and transition it to helping my friends and clients find the homes of their dreams," he said.

Meanwhile, Serhant revealed that he is "excited" to have Cameron by his side in the real estate industry for the foreseeable future.

"Tyler's success in the real estate investment space, and his brand recognition given his Amazon (AMZN) show, create the perfect recipe for success as an agent in 2025 and beyond.

"We've also been friends for years, and I couldn't be more excited to have him by my side in Florida," he added.
