U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke Friday with Kuwait's crown prince, Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah, condemning a drone attack on a Kuwaiti oil refinery and reiterating support for the Gulf kingdom, the prime minister's office said.
The two discussed the deployment of the U.K.'s Rapid Sentry, a short-range air-defense system geared toward countering drones, to Kuwait, a move meant to protect Kuwaiti and British interests in the region, Starmer's office said.
