Alcon (ALC) said Monday that it has launched its Clareon TruPlus monofocal and toric intraocular lens in the US.

The lens offers surgeons a newly designed intraocular lens that increases depth of focus without compromising distance vision, the company said.

Shares of the company were up 1.7% in premarket activity Monday.
