SpaceX is demanding that potential investors and advisers working on its IPO buy subscriptions to Elon Musk's Grok artificial intelligence chatbot, the New York Times reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Some of the banks have already agreed to spend tens of millions for the chatbot, and have integrated into their operations, the report said.

Musk "insisted" that they purchase Grok services and advertise on his X social media platform in order to partake in the IPO, the report said.

SpaceX did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
