Embraer (EMBJ) said Monday its executive vice president for financial and investor relations, Antonio Carlos Garcia, has resigned to pursue new professional opportunities, effective immediately.

CEO Francisco Gomes Neto was named to serve in the role on an interim basis until a permanent replacement is chosen, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Embraer said the change does not affect its strategy, operations or financial commitments.
