1030 GMT - India's FY 2027 inflation could come in slightly above the central bank's projection, says UOB associate economist Jester Koh in a note. The Reserve Bank of India expects FY 2027 inflation based on the new series to accelerate to 4.6%, slightly under UOB's estimate of 4.8%. Koh attributes UOB's forecast to low base effects and potential tightening in food supply, as fertilizer shortage could weigh on crop yields during certain sowing seasons. Still, he expects the RBI to preserve policy flexibility and keep its policy repo rate unchanged at 5.25% through 2026. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
