Emerald Resources (ASX:EMR) said its Okvau gold mine in Cambodia produced 26,269 ounces of gold during the March quarter, with 26,622 ounces of gold poured and 26,318 ounces of gold sold at an average of $4,875 per ounce, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The company said indicative all-in sustaining costs (AISC) for the quarter are expected to be at the lower end of guidance at about $900 per ounce, with 5,830 ounces of gold doré remaining on hand ahead of refinery outturn.

The impact of recent global fuel price increases was only partially felt during the quarter, primarily in March, with diesel prices rising from about $0.80 per liter in January and February to $1.45 per liter in March, resulting in an increase of about 10% in AISC for the month, primarily related to earthmoving activities, the filing added.

The company said its contracted fuel supplier has confirmed a guaranteed diesel supply through to early June, with regular updates to follow regarding extensions to the secured supply period.

Cash, bullion, and listed investments on hand totaled AU$399.3 million at the end of the March quarter, after a fiscal year 2025 Cambodian corporate tax payment of $49.8 million, the filing added.
