REA Group (ASX:REA) said realestate.com.au has launched five new features to make property search and ownership smarter and more engaging, according to a Thursday statement.

The features include an artificial intelligence-powered search assistant that allows users to find properties using natural language, a 3D virtual tour tool with detailed floor and site plans via iGUIDE, and a map-draw feature that lets users filter homes by custom areas.

Additional features allow users to monitor their property's value with AI-driven insights into local market trends and compare energy plans to reduce costs.

The company's shares fell 3% in recent Thursday trade.
