Shares of TransDigm Group rose in premarket trading after it laid out its expectations for growth in its second quarter and said it is raising $1.25 billion in new debt to pay for acquisitions and share buybacks.

Shares traded 3.8% higher in premarket trading at $1,280.00.

The manufacturer of highly engineered aerospace components on Tuesday said it expects net sales of about $2.54 billion to $2.55 billion in the three months ended March 28, up from $2.15 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled on FactSet expect $2.43 billion.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization are seen rising to between $1.33 billion and $1.34 billion, up from $1.16 billion. Analysts on FactSet expect $1.27 billion.

TransDigm also said it expects to raise $1.25 billion of new debt, made up of $250 million in senior subordinated notes and $1 billion of new term loans.

Earlier in April, the company completed its acquisitions of Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings, which were portfolio companies of Vance Street Capital. The company paid $2.2 billion.

TransDigm plans to use the new money alongside its cash reserves to fund the acquisitions, as well as for share repurchases.
