Eton Pharmaceuticals (ETON) said Thursday that it has appointed Judith "Judy" Matthews as chief financial officer starting June 1.

Matthews will succeed CFO James Gruber, who will step down at the end of May as part of a planned transition, and will sign a six-month consulting agreement, the company said.
