Stock futures were rising Thursday as investors bet the U.S. and Iran would return to the negotiating table after cease-fire talks last weekend failed.

These stocks were making moves in premarket trading:

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. rose 1.2% after the Taiwanese company's first-quarter net profit topped analysts' forecasts, signaling to investors that demand for chips remains strong.

Nvidia climbed 0.4% and Advanced Micro Devices gained 1%, putting both chip makers on course for 12-day winning streaks as investors piled back into artificial-intelligence stocks. Nvidia has gained 20% and AMD has risen 32% over the period.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services added 1.7% after the logistics company beat Wall Street's first-quarter earnings and sales expectations, signaling to investors that the U.S. economy remains resilient.

Ford Motor was flat. The auto maker announced late Wednesday that chief electric vehicle, digital, and design officer Doug Field would be leaving the company after five years.

Hims & Hers Health jumped 9.2%, after the online drug retailer closed 14% higher on Wednesday. The surge came after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the U.S. government would loosen regulations for 12 peptides.

Voyager Technologies soared 8% after NASA chose the space infrastructure and defense company for a private astronaut mission to the International Space Station.
