Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) said its Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery, part of its Tabba Tabba Lithium-Tantalum project in Western Australia, continues to expand with a mineralized footprint now defined over more than 2.3 kilometers, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said the discovery remains open in multiple directions, expanding the known extents of the stacked lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite system, with recent metallurgical holes intercepting coarse-grained spodumene mineralization from diamond drilling.
Wild Cat added that a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the Tabba Tabba project is well advanced across key workstreams.
The company said it held cash at the bank of AU$43.3 million as of March 31.
The company's shares rose past 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
