U.S. Stocks to Watch: Intel, American, Oracle, Novo Nordisk, Bloom Energy, Globalstar, JPMorgan, and More

Stock futures were rising Tuesday as investors' hopes for a peace deal between the U.S. and Iran strengthened.

These stocks were making moves in premarket trading:

Intel climbed 1.4%, putting the chip maker on course to extend its winning streak to 10 sessions. Shares have jumped 58% over the past nine trading days, rallying thanks to collaborations with Tesla and Alphabet's Google, and Intel buying back full control of its chip factory in Ireland.

American Airlines rose 4.7% and United Airlines added 1.9% after Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that United CEO Scott Kirby has pitched a potential combination between the two carriers. American and United didn't respond to requests for comment from Barron's.

Novo Nordisk gained 2.5% after the Danish pharmaceutical company announced a partnership with OpenAI aiming to use artificial intelligence to discover new drugs and improve efficiency.

Bloom Energy jumped 14% after the power-generation company announced a deal with Oracle to support the buildout of AI and cloud-computing infrastructure. Oracle rose 5%, making it the S&P 500's best performer ahead of the opening bell, having closed the previous session up 13%.

Credo Technology surged 15% after the electrical cable provider said it would buy chip maker DustPhotonics as it bids to become the dominant player in AI connectivity.

Globalstar soared 17% after a report said that Amazon was in talks to acquire the satellite operator. The deal could be announced as soon as Tuesday, according to Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter. Globalstar and Amazon didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.

JPMorgan Chase slid 0.4% ahead of the Wall Street bank's first-quarter earningss, which are due ahead of the opening bell.
