Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) said it found high-grade critical minerals mineralization during a recent drilling at its Stinger critical metals deposit, part of the Gifford Creek carbonatite complex in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results were of up to 22.3 meters at 1.3% niobium pentoxide from 71.6 meters, including 10.4 meters at 2.1% niobium pentoxide from 71.6 meters, the filing added.

The company said all holes have extended mineralization at Stinger, which remains open to the north and northwest, with an updated niobium JORC exploration target to be prepared and expanded to include potential critical metal by-products.

Metallurgical test work at Stinger and the wider Gifford Creek to date shows promise of being commercial, the filing added.
