Astera Labs, Credo Technology and Marvell Technology were set to add to their impressive recent gains on Monday. Another big artificial-intelligence computing deal for Amazon.com is good news for the networking stocks.
Astera was rising 7% in premarket trading to $187.39, Credo was up 5%, while Marvell was gaining 3.2%.
All three companies could be beneficiaries of Amazon's deal with Anthropic. The arrangement will see the e-commerce company invest up to $25 billion in Anthropic, which has agreed to purchase more than $100 billion of Amazon's cloud services.
Astera makes semiconductor-based connectivity products which are used to build cloud and AI infrastructure, meaning it benefits from more spending on AI computing. Earlier this year, the company disclosed an agreement which gives Amazon the right to purchase up to 3.26 million shares of Astera Labs at an exercise price of $142.82 per share, contingent on product purchases up to $6.5 billion.
Credo makes products used for high-speed data connections within AI data centers. Marvell works with Amazon on custom AI chips and also has a range of optical-networking products.
