Stocks to Watch: Apple, Amazon, SJ Semiconductor, UnitedHealth -- WSJ

Apple $(AAPL)$: The stock fell almost 1% in premarket trading after the company said CEO Tim Cook would step down and named John Ternus, the head of its hardware division, as his successor.

Amazon (AMZN): Amazon said it would invest another $5 billion in Anthropic, and that its total investment could reach as high as $25 billion. Amazon shares gained over 2% premarket.

SJ Semiconductor (CN:688820): Shares of the Chinese chip assembler soared almost fourfold in its first day of trading in Shanghai, reflecting strong investor appetite for companies that can help power Beijing's AI ambitions.

Associated British Foods (UK:ABF): The owner of Primark said it would spin off the budget-clothing retailer from its food operations, and list the two businesses. Shares in AB Foods fell over 3% in London.

UnitedHealth $(UNH)$ and GE Aerospace $(GE)$ are due to report earnings before markets open. Results from United Airlines $(UAL)$ are scheduled for after the close.
