Tivan (ASX:TVN) said its geology team will start the drilling program at the Molyhil tungsten project in the Northern Territory as a first priority, targeting high-priority tungsten targets outside the existing mineral resource, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company mobilized equipment and personnel to start fieldworks for the year, following regulatory approval from the Northern Territory government.

The company is progressing planning for regional scale on-ground exploration activities in the second quarter at the Baucau and Ossu projects in East Timor, including further surface sampling and mapping.

Tivan is reviewing its long-term development strategy and planning for the next phase of work for the Speewah vanadium project, the filing said. Exploration planning is on-going on the Sandover AI project in the Northern Territory.

The company's shares fell past 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
