Rivian Automotive (RIVN) paid its chief executive officer Robert Scaringe $402.6 million in 2025, according to a regulatory filing on Monday.
This compares to his compensation of $14.9 million in 2024, with majority jump in his options awards, which soared from $3.9 million to $373.5 million.
Rivian granted Scaringe a compensation package in November that is worth up to $4.6 billion over 10 years, while around the same time Tesla shareholders approved a performance-based award for CEO Elon Musk that could reach roughly $1 trillion.
At the same time, Rivian's chief financial officer, Claire McDonough, was paid $14.5 million in 2025.
