CGI (GIB) said Monday that it has launched a high-security sovereign AI and data services platform in Finland.

The platform provides a KATAKRI-compliant environment, enabling enterprises and public-sector clients to develop and run AI applications while maintaining control over sensitive data, CGI said.

It is hosted in a Finland-based data center certified against Finland's national KATAKRI security audit criteria, the company added.

The company said the offering supports the deployment of multiple large language models and integrates with existing systems via an OpenAI-compatible API, positioning it as an alternative to public cloud and hybrid solutions.
