The household-goods company is also spending more on supporting sales and covering operational efficiencies as it prioritizes a revenue recovery, the analysts say. Clorox's food and litter businesses were weak points in the quarter, the analysts note. They are worried about high promotion levels, especially as inflation pressures rise for consumers.
