Peloton raised the low end of its annual sales guidance range after revenue ticked up in the fiscal third quarter.

The at-home exercise equipment company on Thursday posted a profit of $26.4 million, or 6 cents a share, in the quarter ended March 31, compared with a loss of $47.7 million, or 12 cents a share, a year earlier.

Analysts had expected earnings of 8 cents a share, according to FactSet.

Revenue rose 1% to $631 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast revenue of $618.3 million. Peloton said sales were driven by better-than-expected Connected Fitness equipment subscriptions--which include live and on-demand exercise instruction--in both Peloton and Precor.

Paid subscriptions at the end of the quarter were roughly 2.7 million, a 7.6% decrease from the year before.

Peloton narrowed its full-year sales outlook to $2.42 billion to $2.44 billion, compared with prior guidance of $2.40 billion to $2.44 billion.
