Gartner (IT) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $3.32 per share, up from $2.98 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.92.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.51 billion, compared with $1.53 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.51 billion.
The company said it increased its buyback authorization by $600 million in April.
