0852 GMT - Central Plaza Hotel's 2Q earnings is likely to be partly weighed by a decline in tourism, DBS Group Research analyst Nantika Wiangphoem says in a report. Based on the hotel and restaurant chain operator management's guidance, revenue per available room in April declined 3% in Thailand and 11% in Japan. The sluggish performance in Japan was affected by a high base from last year's Osaka Expo as well as a sharp decline in Chinese tourists in the country. Thailand's muted operations stemmed from weaker demand for some destinations. DBS has a buy rating and a target price of 42.50 baht on the stock, which is 2.5% higher at 31.25 baht.(amanda.lee@wsj.com)
