0723 GMT - European energy stocks rise in opening trade as oil prices climb after President Trump said Iran's response to a U.S. authored proposal on ending the conflict was unacceptable. Brent crude rises 3.3% to $104.61 a barrel, while WTI futures gain 3.7% to $98.98 a barrel. Italy's Eni is up 1.7% while Spain's Repsol gains 0.45%. Norway's Equinor rises nearly 1.9%. (adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
