WT Microelectronics (TPE:3036) booked consolidated sales of about NT$211 billion for April, surging 79% from a year earlier, according to a Friday Taiwan Exchange filing.

Shares jumped about 10% in Monday's afternoon trade.

The sales grew 9% from a month earlier.

For the January-April period, revenue totaled roughly NT$705.3 billion, soaring 93% versus a year prior.
