0549 GMT - U.S. consumer inflation data on Tuesday could reinforce the Federal Reserve's wait-and-see stance, Danske Bank's August Hyldgaard says in a note. "If they surprise on the upside, the combination with strong labour market data will keep the Federal Reserve in their current wait-and-see mode," the analyst says. The year-over-year consumer-price index is expected to rise to 3.8% in April from 3.3% previously, while the core CPI is expected to rise to 2.7% from 2.6%, according to The Wall Street Journal's poll.
