China Longyuan Power (HKG:0916, SHE:001289) recorded power generation of 6.85 million megawatt-hours in April, down 0.8% from a year earlier, according to a May 8 Hong Kong bourse filing.
The power company's Hong Kong shares gained nearly 3% in Monday morning trade.
Wind power generation fell 6.7% year over year, while solar power output rose 31%.
For the first four months, power generation declined 1.9% to 26.67 million megawatt-hours. Of this, wind power output dropped 7.2%, and solar power generation climbed 33%.
