Iran's soccer federation said Saturday the country will take part in the 2026 FIFA World Cup if the U.S. and the tournament's other hosts give all its players and staff visas, including those who served in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the Associated Press.

Iran has also demanded security guarantees during the tournament, which will be hosted in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and demanded that its flag and anthem be treated with respect, the AP reported, citing a statement from Iran's soccer federation and Iranian state media.
