ARS Pharmaceuticals (SPRY) reported a Q1 net loss Friday of $0.61 per diluted share, widening from a loss of $0.35 a year earlier.
Two analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.49.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $22.7 million, compared with $8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $22.2 million.
The company had $201 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments as of March 31, expected to fund operations through cash-flow break-even, it said.
ARS shares were up 2.4% in premarket activity.
