COMPASS Pathways (CMPS) reported Wednesday that its Q1 loss widened to $0.30 per diluted share from a loss of $0.24 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.43.
The company reported no revenue for the quarter ended March 31.
As of March 31, the mental health care firm said it had $466 million in cash and or cash equivalents, compared with $149.6 million a year earlier, sufficient to fund operating expenses and capital expenditure requirements into 2028.
