1245 ET - On Holding's U.S. business is hitting a wall, Jefferies analysts say in a research note. Sales in the region grew about 3% during the recent quarter, down sharply from a 33% increase in the same period last year. The Swiss running shoe maker is also seeing its direct-to-consumer sales growth slow, the analysts add. Sales in the unit rose 16% during the recent quarter, down from a 45% gain a year earlier. "If the U.S. goes negative & direct continues to slow, margin outperformance will end & declines begin," the analysts say. On Holding sinks 4%. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
