1030 GMT - Birkenstock Holding's quarterly update is unlikely to ease doubts, analysts at Bernstein write in a note. The German shoemaker reported revenue of 618 million euros for its fiscal second quarter ended March 31. This was 14% higher than the prior-year period at constant currency, missing consensus estimates of a 15% rise, the brokerage says. Profit also came in below expectations on both gross margin and Ebitda, the analysts say. It is unlikely that these results will dispel the doubts that have weighed on the company in recent months, they add. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
