Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Mizuho Financial Group (MFG), and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group (SMFG) are set to gain access to Anthropic's Claude Mythos, news outlets reported Wednesday.

Nikkei said the banks' access could come as soon as the end of May. A source familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that details of the arrangement remain private.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) was the only bank included in the group that was granted early access to Mythos, Bloomberg said.

The Japanese banks and Anthropic did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
