HIVE Digital Technologies' (HIVE) BUZZ subsidiary plans to build a 320-megawatt sovereign AI infrastructure facility in the Greater Toronto Area, the company said. Monday.

The project, estimated at $3.5 billion Canadian dollars ($2.55 billion), is expected to host more than 100,000 GPUs at full build-out and generate hundreds of permanent high-skill roles.

The company has acquired about 21 acres of land and an adjacent four-acre lot for the project, it said.

The facility is targeted to come online in H2 2027.
