Z Squared (ZSQR) has set a phase 1 plan to attain 100mw of AI-ready capacity across multiple site in the US over the next 18 months, the company said Tuesday.

The company said it plans to achieve the target through a strategy of acquiring operating sites where power is already available and converting them to be AI-ready at an accelerated timeline.

Z Squared has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire Skycore Digital, which consists of three active North Carolina sites supported by Duke Energy (DUKE).

Skycore operates about 24 megawatts of energized capacity currently connected to the grid, plus an additional 18 megawatts available through existing Duke Energy letters of authorization, according to a statement.
