Yum China Holdings (YUMC) said Friday its KFC light-meal business KPRO, now operates more than 300 sites in China.
The restaurant group expects to hit 600 open shops before the year finishes, growing from slightly over 200 spots in 2025, the company said.
KPRO runs as an integrated counter within existing KFC restaurants to cut down on startup funding and daily running expenses compared to building separate storefronts, Yum China said.
The company previously boosted its yearly growth goal for the division to concentrate on major metropolitan areas in the eastern and southern parts of the country, it added.
